An excellent place to drop in to while shopping on Sloane Street and at the Knightsbridge department stores. I have always enjoyed fine food and service at this classic Italian. The dining room is welcoming and the menu produce-driven. One of my favourite dishes is a spring vegetable salad, but the French bean and cuttlefish salad is also worth a go. The pasta dishes are great, particularly the one with sardines, pine nuts and sultanas. Other dishes include roast duck, pan-fried plaice with basil crust, or sea bass – to be enjoyed with a cheeky little bottle of Chianti. Chocolate fondant with pistachio ice-cream to finish.
