Wembley Arena, London
This famous indoor arena, just 20 minutes by train from central London, has a 12,500 capacity and has hosted many a legend. The Beatles played there in their mid-1960s heyday. Kylie Minogue performed her first European show after beating cancer at Wembley on New Year’s Eve 2006. The headliners continue: Cliff Richard celebrates his 50th year of performance fronting The Shadows in the arena in October. Evergreen soulsters The Commodores and The Miracles are here in June, as are blues greats BB King and John Mayall.
