Tikli Bottom, Delhi

05 October 2009

Manender Farm, Gairatpur Bas, Tikli (45 minutes from Delhi Airport), India.

This charming four-room guesthouse is on a farm “at the bottom” of the small rural village of Tikli, 15km south of Gurgaon, 45 minutes’ drive from Delhi airport, and a short detour from Jaipur. Martin Howard and his wife, Annie, have spent more than 25 years in India. Upon his retirement they opened their bungalow to guests. Tikli has become renowned for long, lazy, weekend lunches, with delicious food made from homegrown organic produce accompanied by Indian wines.
