Construction began in 1937 on this series of buildings that serves as the headquarters of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation – and ground zero for Wright admirers. Set on a sprawling 160ha ranch, the hauntingly beautiful “camp” was designed to function as the winter campus for Wright’s school. It houses 22,000 of his drawings and more than 300,000 documents.
