Swish Wine Bar swept into being just before Christmas and gentle Toowoomba hasn’t been the same since. Those temperature-controlled glass walls of wine leave no doubt that this is a serious establishment for the wine lover. Such decor affords enjoyable browsing, not to mention moments of delicious temptation, which the takeaway purchase option can make irresistible. Many wines are offered for tasting or by the glass at the bar, where an array of the revolutionary Enomatic wine dispensers is very swish, indeed. It’s licensed until 2am daily, and a new wave of patrons arrives for breakfast soon after dawn. Versatile spaces – indoor, outdoor, bar, high benches, lounge – cater for all gatherings and ages. There are 30 original all-day tapas dishes, and modern à la carte dining in the restaurant section, which is regularly booked out. Swish is eclectic and it looks like the future.
