Until property developers wise up, Caledonian Lane remains one of the grittier laneway encounters. St Jerome’s is a hip hole in the wall, serving coffee and cake to the cool crowd by day. At night it amps up without losing its relaxed vibe in the surprisingly cavernous courtyard.
