Taberna Los Huevos de Lucio, Madrid

There’s no number outside, so look for the eggs on the sign. Set up by the nephew of the proprietor of Casa Lucio, Los Huevos is a celebration of the hallowed egg, mostly in deep-fried form. The clsico (fries with roughly chopped fried egg on top) is dangerously delicious. Or try it topped with jamn or green-pepper stew – it’s coronary-inducing.
