Opened in 1871 and dedicated to Queen Victoria’s beloved husband, Prince Albert, this circular building and its magnificent auditorium are justifiably legendary. Aside from hosting the BBC Proms, the famous festival of classical music, the Royal Albert Hall has opened its doors to everyone from Morrissey to the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. The Rodgers and Hammerstein classic The King And I will be staged in the round from June 12 to 28.
