A former steam-engine repair shed, Camden’s Roundhouse housed seminal performances by the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Pink Floyd in the ’60s. Today, after a £30 million ($62.3m) redevelopment, it has re-emerged with features including a shiny glass lantern centrepiece, several bars and a 3000-standing capacity. Expect big names in contemporary music: American chanteuse Tracy Chapman plays June 24-25.
