Radisson SAS Royal, Copenhagen
It was Copenhagen’s first skyscraper, but Arne Jacobsen’s 22-storey 1960 Jet Age masterpiece has succumbed somewhat to the inevitable march of time. Shades of his genius remain in touches such as his iconic Egg and Swan chairs. Room 606 has been retained in its original decor – but you’ll need to book it well in advance.
