Emilie de Comarmond

B1 Shin-Marunouchi Building, 1-5-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku.

Opened in 2007 in the basement of Tokyo’s newest and most chic office/retail complex, this state-of-the art bakery’s minimalist decor has more in common with a luxury fashion shop than a bread shop. Owner Masami Asano trained as a chef in Paris and uses only the finest ingredients. Try the katsura or the komachi for a taste of unusually shaped Japanese croissants.
