The name is a play on words (you pronounce it “pain chaud” which means “hot bread”). As locals know, the real wars in Montreal are over the best bagels. Mr Pinchot also sells cakes, ice-cream, pastries and Quebec cheeses, and everything is made on the premises from quality ingredients. Drop in for a simple lunch – they do great baguette sandwiches.
