Library Hotel, New York
The Dewey Decimal System may seem an unlikely inspiration for a hotel, but that’s just the geek-chic approach taken at this Midtown property, which is home to 6000 books. Each of the 60 upscale rooms has been decorated according to distinctive topics – anything from religion to fashion design – and feature decidedly techie touches such as iPod docks and high-speed wireless. Who said you can’t be a book geek and a luxury hound?
