Sue Dyson & Roger McShane
51 Rue du Limas, Avignon, France.
Marion Wagner treats you more as a house guest than a paying customer, and can provide recommendations about anything in Avignon. The four bedrooms are surprisingly spacious and there is a light and airy ground-floor living room, equipped with great books and music. Breakfasts, which Wagner serves at a shared table – on the rooftop terrace in summer or in the ground-floor room in winter – are beyond the ordinary, with croissants and baguettes from Boulangerie Grandguillaume, just along the street.
