Gavin Bain has sold collectable cars for 20 years, along with models, motoring art, books, badges, key-rings, DVDs and posters. Gleaming on the showroom floor: a 1965 Jaguar E-Type, asking price $NZ85,000 ($69,500); a 1971 MG Midget, $NZ11,990 ($9800); and a huge 1951 Bentley, $NZ34,995 ($28,600). Of the 50 to 60 he sells each year, half a dozen go overseas. Bain owns several cars himself, including a 1904 one-cylinder Cadillac.
