Explore The Collector’s Fortress
Image 1 of 7
You had a glimpse of The Collector’s citadel on the planet Knowhere in the first Guardians of the Galaxy film but now you get to poke around inside. His Fortress (the remodeled Twilight Zone Tower of Terror) is home to weird and fascinating creatures and artefacts from across the universe, preserved in preparation for a catastrophe. But his acquisition methods may not always be above board...
Be Part of a New Plot

This attraction isn’t ripped from the movies – a new storyline has been developed with input from Guardians director James Gunn with voice and acting work from the film’s core cast. The Collector has acquired the Guardians for his collection (or is holding them prisoner, depending on whose side you’re on!). But Rocket, the genetically modified raccoon, has escaped from his case and needs your help to set the others free.
Spot the Easter Eggs

Hardcore Marvel fans (and even just the occasional Avengers watcher) will be able to spot tons of references to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in The Collector’s exhibit. The lucky few who’ve had previews of the ride report spotting cases with Kree artefacts from the Agents of SHIELD TV series and Asgardian trinkets (to list any more would spoil the fun of finding them yourself!).
An Awesome Mix Tape

What really makes this attraction stand out? The ride is different every time. When guests board the gantry lift to begin the ride, one of six scenarios will play out. Each has their own hero song with accompanying ride profile and visuals. Even better? They’re all hits from the ’60s, ’70s and early ’80s: Hit Me With Your Best Shot by Pat Benatar, Give Up the Funk by Parliament, Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf, I Want You Back by The Jackson 5, Free Ride by The Edgar Winter Group and Burning Love by Elvis Presley.
The Chance to Meet Your Favourite Quirky Characters

As well as the main ride, there’s also the Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off! several times a day nearby. Star-Lord lives his life by his Walkman so it makes sense that he’s an excellent dancer. Watch him try to one-up Gamora with his moves to tunes from a boom box – and keep an eye out for Groot as well.
Encounter the Avengers

This is also your chance to meet Captain America and Spider-Man and Hawkeye and Black Widow will show up to see if young recruits have what it takes to be part of the Avengers Training Initiative.
