Nadi is serviced by buses, share taxis and taxis and there are buses connecting resorts on Nadi beach to downtown. As the condition of the roads around the islands can be very poor, many embassies advise their citizens against private road travel. Interisland travel is serviced by a number of ferry routes or by plane.
