De Bortoli’s Yarra Valley home includes vineyards, a cellar door, family-friendly gardens, a cheese room and a restaurant that’s open daily for lunch and on Saturday for dinner. The pinot noir and chardonnay are wonderful, but don’t ignore the shiraz and riesling. Choose from the full De Bortoli range in the restaurant, where chef Tim Keenan prepares excellent Italian food with local produce and a changing à la carte menu.
