Pier Ratchawong for Chinatown; Saphan Phut for Little India.

Sampeng Lane is perhaps the greatest shopping street in Bangkok: a chaotic, noisy, cramped alley that slices through the back streets of Chinatown. Watch your pockets as you fight for elbow room with professional shoppers, hawkers pushing barrows of iced fruit, boys hauling goods by the bale, motorcyclists blaring their horns and the hapless few swept along by the tide of humanity.
