Asaka Excel Hotel Tokyu, Tokyo
The most appealing thing about this urban hotel is its absolute central location between the Nagatacho and Akasaka Mitsuke stations, a stroll from the Imperial Palace, government offices and Roppongi nightlife. The rooms are comfortable, although the ones facing the main street tend to be a bit noisy. Some have special features such as free high-speed internet, massage chairs and ergonomic pillows. There are also special rooms for women, with camera surveillance in the corridor, musical jewellery boxes and feather bedding.
